Entry 2 – Cash couriers dead

Another horror headline today. In Daresbury, an armoured cash van was robbed on Tuesday. Since then the two drivers had been missing – the police have been searching for them everywhere. And now this: in an abandoned house nearby, today two bodies were found. According to the police, they are the drivers.

The sight is said to have been terrible. William apparently died immediately after the crime from a gunshot wound. The other driver managed to hold on for a while, but then succumbed to his head injuries. I can’t get the image out of my head. If I can get the sequence of events right – maybe the whole thing will finally make sense.

Task: Arrange the cards chronologically (early → late). One hint is available.

Reconstruction confirmed. William died immediately after the crime from a gunshot wound, the other driver died later from his head injuries and left a note in his trouser pocket – a message that clearly was not meant to be deciphered by the killer:

NO HOXX LXFX DONT TXUST
XONTACT WXTH ———— BODIES
——- CORRECT PROTECTIVE ———
WIXX RXSULX IN SUXMARY
TXRMINATION

How horrible. The police have published a documentation and are asking the public for information.

The X letters must be replaced. In the correct order they form the solution word. Oh my God, I have a terrible suspicion.

Take another look at the texts in Adele’s photo album. Which person do you associate with the murder of the cash couriers? You’ll find a link to the crime scene in the diary entry. The solution to the puzzle is written on the walls. On the wall of the room with the bodies you’ll find the first saying, to the left of the entrance to this room you’ll find the second. The X letters form the solution word.

I need to find out what happened – before night falls.
I am searching for the path to the crime scene.
